OOC Inrto on Tohmas.
With a graceful spring of spotted silver hide, the tomcat landed on top of his backyard fence, glad to be away from the hustle and bustle of the movers. He didn’t like those tall, loud men shouting at him because he tried to get out of their way. It wasn’t his fault he wanted to make sure everything got in place as he wanted it. After a frustrated half hour, he had bounced up onto Kira’s shoulder, and out of the way. Kira had laughed, and placed him outside to explore.
Licking his paw with a pink, rasping tounge, Tohmas cleaned his face and whiskers before surveying the yard around him. The yard was large, about five or six squared meters, with a hill’s hoist clothesline a few steps away from the back door, soft, springy green grass underfoot with. Flowerbeds spread around the fence line, and a large jacaranda tree in the top left corner, where he perched now. Padding easily across the fence, he peered into the yard next to him. Nothing to interesting there. Turning, Tohmas jumped up the jacaranda, perching on one of its smooth boughs, curled comfortably in the sunlight until the darkness of the late afternoon covered him. Green eyes slid open, gaze fixing on a small bowl of milk and cat kibble. Kira had spotted him it seemed. The movers had left finally. After eating his dinner, Tohmas set off to explore the night time neighbourhood.
“Who else is out and about I wonder?” he said, nose catching whiffs of animals moving about, mostly canines. Setting off in the general direction of them, his mind pricked with interest, Tohmas left his backyard far behind.
