"Well ain't you the cutest thing I've ever seen." Blue eyes looked up at the lady speaking to the small pup. T.K. wagged her small tail and licked the hand that petted her. "Oh such a sweet girl." T.K. barked and leaned her head into the lady's before sauntering off. Here at the vet's office her humans worked at she greeted the other humans. Some of them she avoided because the dogs they were with weren't keen on the idea of having a curious pup around. Thankfully they had muzzles on to keep those large teeth away from her.
She padded herself over to a rubber ball and looked around at the waiting people. Hmm...who'll play with me until they go into one of the rooms? The lady already left which left this one guy. Barking through the ball in her mouth she ran to him (skidding a bit on the smooth floor) and stood against his legs on her back ones. "What? Oh. You just want to play." The man was focused on his sleeping dog to see the small pup until now. "There you go." As soon as he threw it T.K. was off! She skidded on the floors, went behind the counter, avoided the legs so she didn't get stepped on or tripped anyone, and caught it as it bounced off a wall.
With her tail up and wagging she returned to the man only he wasn't there. "Awww..." She dropped her ball as now there was nobody waiting around. The people behind the counter were busy as always and her owners were doing their job. "I wish Dana was here." The girl was always somewhere else unless it was a weekend. Sighing T.K. laid down by two bowls that were hers here. It was of course empty of food since she never left one small kibble. There was only some cold water in the other bowl. She wished that that other people would come so she can play again. Then again that was a mean and sad wish. Humans came here because their pet was sick or hurt. Sometimes it was just for a check up or a shot though. Still, mostly sick ones came in. It wasn't a nice wish if it meant the person that would come into here had a sick pet with them.
When do I get to back to the shelter? All the nice dogs there play with me. I wanna go back there! Her owners often voluntered at the shelter and took T.K. along for the fun. Everytime she went there it was a fun time she never forgot. The dogs were nice, the cats witty, the birds talkative, and there was adventure around every corner. Right now that seemed like a better wish. Only she didn't think she'd be going to the shelter for another day or two. Her owners seemed pretty busy with healing the animals here. Guess I'll just take a nap she thought with a yawn. Stretching her legs she plopped herself on her side right in front of her bowls.
