"I wish to join but then I need roof over my head, food and ...*cough*... someone to love me."
Josephine smiled. So this girl wanted to join, eh? Well, Josephine couldn't see why not.
"You won't be sorry if you accept me. I'm loyal, good at listening to the boss's orders- if they are reasonable of course- and I won't betray friends for my life. So, what do you say?"
Josephine was about to answer when another dog showed up.
"I'm sorry for interrupting. I couldn't help but be curious as I saw you run by my fence. I just wanted to say hi, and...I was wondering if you have seen a big black and white brute about lately-I'm missing one, and our Mistress will be most upset if he's not back before she gets home."
Josephine smiled sadly. "I'm afraid I'm no help there."
"I'm sorry-so terribly rude of me-My name is Shila, or as many call me, Fairbanks."
Josephine nodded. "I'm Slipstream."
"I don't want to sound rude, but... Why the hell everybody I met here have two names? Is this connected with Gang fight or what?"
The tan collie looked at Missy with an apolagetic look. "I'm sorry, I never did explain that. Yes, we all have codenames to keep ourselves and our humans safe. If someone in the Gang found out our real names, all hell would break loose, and that's something we can't risk."
Josephine perked her ears up. She heard the sound of wings approaching. She turned her head and smiled at the crow. "Hello Trinket!"
"G'ev'ning, Slipstream, Fairbanks, and...you. "
Josephine couldn't help wondering what Trinket was doing here. She sat down, deciding to listen to her flap her beak.
"Let me gets this straight with c'hyoo, new no-feather: the first name is our real name, the second is our code. We use them codes for mission purposes, so no one'll know our real name. Got that, no feather? Secondly, y'seem like you have a reasonable enough reason to be accepted. I've got about the same amount of power as Josephi-SlipStream over there, so if I accept you, you're accepted. So basically, you're accepted, unless Slipstream has any objections. You can tell her the code, I'll just been on my way."
Josephine nodded. "Trinket's right. I think you'd bacome an asset with a little training, Missy. Of course, you'd need a codename, you know, to keep safe."
((sooooooooo sorry this took so long. I've been really busy, people on the BBA probably already know why.))

Missy thought for a moment.
"So, what training do you have in mind?" she asked cautiously. "As for code name... I think this isn't going to be hard... Tramp Lady. I like this one," she grinned.
Missy liked that name because it was both, ironic and descriptive. Like made for her.
"Is there something else i need to know? Oh, yea, what about my new boss? When am I going to meet him?"
((short one... Like Missy's legs ;D.))

"So, what training do you have in mind?"
Josephine cocked her head in thought. "Well, that's really up to Hadrian. He'll decide what he thinks you'd be good at, then he'll refine that skill." Josephine nodded. Yep, that's what he'd do.
"As for code name... I think this isn't going to be hard... Tramp Lady. I like this one."
"Hmmm...codenames are usually one word, but I think Tramp Lady would work." She'd have to check with Hadrian.
"Is there something else i need to know? Oh, yea, what about my new boss? When am I going to meet him?"
Josephine smiled. "I love your eagerness. You can meet him tonight at The Fort. Meet me here and I'll take you to it."
((beh, short))

The night was dark, or, better to say, it would be dark if there weren't any street lights. Missy sat under one of them, looking down the street and waiting for Slipstream. She was wondering what is her new boss like. So far she heard only nice things about him and bad things about his brother. Well, it seemed that her life from now on is going to be much more interesting than before. Missy laid down and sighed. She didn't like big changes but she would do anything for a nice and warm home. ((Really, my brain is totally dead. Probably because of studying .))
