If the Legionnaires are using code names to evade the gang in their Legionnaire work, wouldn't they use their -regular- names when they're out and about on the street to keep from giving away the Legionnaire status, or am I thinking into this too much?

They try not to call each other by their pet names when on duty so that if the Gang starts asking around about "Marilyn," no one will know what they're talking about. The codenames are used in any area outside the neighborhood, not just OM. The OMG only know of the Legionnaires they've seen, anyone who hasn't been in a confrontation with a Gang member is unknown to them. The codenames are just used to keep their "real" identities from their enemies.
Kinda like superhero aliases.

It's completely up to the character in question. They might want to continue using their LSL name until they know for sure what the new character is up to or they may jump straight into using their "real" names.
